For most of the people who want to lose weight it is hard to get started and keep going. There are so many factors in our lives that play a role in losing weight. Food is delicious and exercise is hard . I am still struggling myself now and then but I know how to stop falling back in old habits by staying focused on my goal.
There are a lot of weight loss programs out there and they all will have something that works but is it working for you. Weight loss is not a short term fix it will ask a lot of effort mentally and physically . You may end up in a up and down yo yo effect and at the end you will give up.
With out a plan for the future you will lose some weight but you will probably fall back in to your old lifestyle of eating habits. This will happen if you start a weight loss program that makes you lose weight quickly .
The best thing to do is to have a balanced diet that includes all the food groups that your body needs. You will only succeed if you can keep that weight off for good.
You have to understand that diets in combination with excessive exercise and detoxing do not work on the long term. They will only work for so long depending on your motivation level which is different for all of us.
Losing weight is not a quick fix although the weight loss industry tells you so. Losing weight is all about your dedication to stick to a long term plan and support from people around you. Friends and family can be a great support in helping you to reach your goal.
It is better to lose weight slowly like 0.5 to 1 kilo a week. you will not even feel hungry or that you miss out in foods that you love. It is all a matter of eating a little less and more healthy products.

It is you that has to have the mindset and the will to make it work. You will have to slowly get rid of all the processed foods like white bread, pasta, milk, cheese, snacks, chips. You will have to switch to wholegrain varieties .
Now and then you will fall back but don`t feel guilty about it it is perfectly normal.
You have to adjust to a different way of eating then you where used to.
You can also start to do some light exercise like walking or some gym at home. You don`t have to do excessive workouts to lose that weight. It will be good for your fitness level if you can but don`t push yourself to hard. Keep a food diary this is proven to make you lose more weight.
You need support from the community
Without support or motivation it is very hard for most of us to lose weight. You need support through friends and family and other sources to help you and guide you in the right way. A lot of them have no weight issues and can help you leading the way if you let them in to your space.
We know that people will make fun out of your attempt to eat healthy and want to lose weight. A lot of people and cultures are focused on their food habits and you can`t blame them because that is the way they have being taught by their family.
They will come with all sorts of comments like , is that all you are going to eat or are you not having any dessert ? People can be nasty and sarcastic . Just remember it is about your health and wellbeing. That is why you need the support from professionals and family and friends.

Not enough sleep and to much stress
If you don`t sleep enough and have to much stress this will catches up with you during the day and you will go for unhealthy snacks to keep you going. You will come home and have no energy to do some walk or exercise.
If you are tired you will be moody and fall back in comfort food. So it is very important to get enough sleep at night, at least 7.5 hours of sleep for most people more is better.

There are a lot of weight loss supplements on the market and they are probably not going to do the work for you alone. You also have to start using a protein shake in the morning to keep you full and get you through the day.
