We all know by now that reducing your calories will make you lose weight. And a lot of people start of doing the right thing and then after a while give up because it is to hard to leave all the nice food they love behind.
Try to avoid strict diets this will help you to keep going on a strait path that you can follow with out losing all the foods you love. Make your own plan by reducing the amount of some foods.
You can do this by reducing your calories and look at the amount of calories that certain foods contain by looking at the label. Try to find a similar product that contains less calories the next time you go shopping.
Also try to reduce your portion size by using a smaller plate. Stop eating junk food. And also cut your portion down by putting less on your plate.
Minimize your snack intake during the day get rid of all the bad processed snacks you have in your fridge and kitchen cabinet like cookies, candies, cakes. Instead eat a fruit you love or a yoghurt that is low in fat or just a carrot.
You also must reduce your fried food intake and desserts that have lots of fat and sugars in them. Look for fries that you can bake in the oven instead of oil.
Keep a weight loss diary
To keep your weight loss motivation going you will have to start a weight loss diary. It is very important to keep yourself motivated in to reaching your goal. People who keep track on their food intake by using a food diary are more likely to lose weight.
In order to do so you will have to write everything down you eat during the day. You can also write down what exercise you have done and at what time of the day you did this and how you feel. This all is to give you an idea to see if you are on track with your plan. There are lots of food diaries on the web and apps you can down load on your mobile phone.
When you see you start to lose weight it is also important to celebrate your success because this is all part of keeping your weight loss motivation going. If you have met one of your goals whatever it is you did, like walking every day for an hour or eating less snacks or exercise at home.
